Held October 19-21, 2006, this is 3 days of intensive teaching and practice, from 10:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. Students who have already learned how to play songs in all keys using chords and rhythm will now learn to dress up their playing with the use of minor, diminished, augmented, and suspension chords. The material covered equals that of the second level of the Piano By Ear for Adults series. This is the perfect school for those who want to move on from the basics to more expressive styles of playing. This school will equip you with the knowledge and understanding of chords and chord progressions that will give you the confidence to release the music that is in you. Class materials are included in Tuition. The school begins Thursday morning at 10:00 am till 1:00 pm. We have lunch from 1-3pm, then class resumes till 6:00 pm. Dinner is from 6-8 pm, after which each student practices till 10:00 pm. This school will be held at Amerisuites Hotel soon to be renamed Hyatt Place, 1005 Crestline Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30328, 770-730-9300 for reservations.
