I would like to update you concerning a fight that I have had for the last 18 months with cancer. Some of you are aware that I discovered that I had rectal cancer December 2006, when I went to my doctor for a problem I thought I had with bleeding hemorrhoids. This has been a devastating blow to us in many ways, but in some ways it has been a blessing. It has caused me to realize that much of what I was eating contributed to the development and growth of the cancer. Additionally, the lack of sleep and exercise caused me not to recognize the warning signs my body was giving me. Even though the doctors recommended chemotherapy and radiation in December of 2006, I chose to pursue a path of “natural remedies.” Through a vegetarian diet, liver and colon detoxify, alkaline water, Goji Juice, Zango Juice, Tahitian Noni Juice, herbs, JUICING fruit and vegetables, I have lost 60 pounds and have more energy than I had before. My Naturopathic doctor indicated had I taken chemotherapy or radiation in December, it would have killed me, because my liver was in such bad shape that it couldn't’t handle the toxins. (I suppose the Medical Doctors would have been right with their prediction that I had about 6 months to live.) Through his tests, he was able to give me the vitamins, and nutrients that were missing and needed to cause my body to heal itself. The main thing that helped my body get back on track was the elimination of ALL MEAT. I ate NOTHING THAT HAD A FACE ON IT. This prevented the possibility of any chemicals, toxins, parasites, and non-digestible meat from entering my body, giving it the opportunity to eliminate all of the bad food already built up in my body. After getting my body back into good condition, the second medical doctor and team indicated that the tumor was still present and they wanted me to go through chemotherapy and radiation to shrink it in preparation for surgery. Well, because my body was so built up with the prayer, colon cleanse, vegetarian diet, and vitamins, the chemotherapy and radiation did not affect me with so many side effects as it does most people. The doctors and nurses were amazed that I looked as good as I did and had no side effects. The witness was that God was in control, and that prayers are being answered. This experience has taught me a lot about our body and how God intends for it to function. I realize that we are being trained to slowly kill ourselves with the food that we eat and the lifestyles that we live. It appears that the food we eat is fine, but the truth is…there are no nutrients in it and there are many chemicals and toxins in most of what we eat. Other things like sugar, MSG, and even dairy is not good for the proper functioning of our bodies. The basic lesson I’ve learned is that we need to eat more raw vegetables, fruit and nuts, using only olive oil when we cook, and supplement our diet with vitamins, minerals and green super food. I had surgery on November 13, 2007 to remove the infected rectum. I was hospitalized for 7 days, then home bed rest for about a week after that. Miraculously, I was able to go out with the family on Thanksgiving, but remained home for the following week, allowing my body to heal. Beyond the revelation about food intake, vitamins and exercise, the Lord has shown me that there are spiritual consequences that cause us to be sick as well. Most of this was ministered through an "Encounter" weekend with Atlanta Metropolitan Cathedral, where Bishop Flynn A. Johnson is Pastor, and a week-long bible school called "For My Life" at Pleasant Valley Church in Thomaston, GA, where Henry W. Wright is Pastor. These acts of disobedience or open doors to evil spirits cause us to act out the will of those spirits, bringing forth:
I realize now that there have been several spirits of the enemy working in my life that has produced consequences that only God can deliver me from at this point. And I'm so glad that with God, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. Those spirits that I have recognized are: Bitterness, Envy/Jealousy, Rejection, Unloving spirits and Fear. I am now on a pathway to wholeness and freedom because:
After returning home from a week at Be In Health.com, I went to the Oncologist to get tested on the presence of cancer cells in my body. They said that before I went to Be In Health.com my cancer score was 11. The NORMAL score for the average person is 5. The scan results all came back NEGATIVE, and the CEA score was 4.1, and they don't understand why or what happened. On May 13th, 2008, I was operated on to reverse the ileostomy and get back to normal body function. I may be in the hospital for about a week, then resting at home for about 3-6 weeks.
