Learn the foundation of playing chords with rhythm to accompany yourself or others as they sing simple songs. You will learn all that is needed from the beginning as if you know nothing about music. Note names, sharps, flats, Major Chords, keys, and chord progressions will be taught. No previous training necessary. Level 2 - For Intermediate Adults Those who can play songs using simple Major Chords, and those who have completed LEVEL 1, will learn how to make the songs sound more interesting with the use of Auxiliary Chords. These are minor, augmented, diminished, suspension and 7th chords. Once you have completed Level 1 and Level 2 you have completed the material covered in the Piano-By-Ear For Adults home study course. Now we move on the even more interesting chords. This level covers the creation and use of 7th, 9th, 11th, and 13th chords. There is a strong focus on FLOW and Chord Progressions. Many students have taken this level several times, because there is so much to learn from each other as well as from the teacher.
